I have been intentional about taking some time off before wedding season starts so March was AMAZING! With April comes a ton of new adventures so let’s dive into my monthly review and look ahead!

March

I can’t get over how awesome the weather has been (with the exception of a few crazy storms). We’ve spent a ton of time outside at the neighborhood park, our backyard, on walks and best of all Busch Gardens! I’m trying to get better about bringing my professional camera (instead of just my iPhone) when outside with Koa so I was able to get some cute pics! He’s finally sitting still to say ‘Cheese!’ when I ask and it makes my heart melt haha!

I loved capturing Brittany & Matthew’s City Center Newport News engagement session! We adventured around the area and they laughed a ton!

Arielle & Howard’s East Beach Norfolk engagement session was also a fun time! A sweet couple, beautiful weather, sand and sun… what more could I ask for? 🙂

I joined Weight Watchers, ya’ll! A group of sweet friends and I are all doing the program together, working out and keeping each other accountable. It’s been wonderful cheering each other on! I’ll blog more about my journey in a few weeks! I decided to have a ‘Treat Yo Self’ afternoon and saw Beauty & the Beast all by myself. It was SO good!! March also included quite a few baby showers and birthday parties. What a fun month!

April

I hosted Spring Mini Sessions the first weekend of April and THREE of my 2016 brides came expecting sweet babies!! How awesome is that?? I love mini sessions because they are super quick, fun, and I’m able to meet a ton of new friends! The last time I saw Katherine & Ben was at their Woman’s Club of Portsmouth wedding last summer and look at them now! 🙂

I worked with the GoLiveHQ team so they could redesign my new Education Page!  I am SO OBSESSED! I went to the GoLive Workshop in LA last year to create a new website so I knew if I wanted any design team to spruce up my new page, it had to be them! Also on the April calendar is a Wolfpack mastermind night with these ladies! Can’t wait!

Elizabeth Henson and I are hosting a fun networking event for female entrepreneurs called Creative Connections next week! There are only 3 spots left and we’re diversifying the crowd with boss ladies from all different industries so check it out if you’re interested!
