Oh what a fun month it’s been! I love doing these recap/look ahead posts so much because it’s really fun to reflect! Here’s a look at what went on in October and what I’m looking forward to this month 🙂
October
Lots of quality time with these two! Weekends have been pretty crazy this month with weddings & sessions so I’ve been very intentional about making sure I’m not slipping on quality time with Koa. We’ve been hanging around the house, going on walks & bike rides, joined a new weekly playgroup and hitting pumpkin patches with our friends! Koa’s vocabulary has grown exponentially and it’s fun to have little conversations with him! He’s also getting more obsessed with our pup Bentley.
How cute are Koa and Crystal’s daughter Hayden!??! Is it too soon to start posing them?! LOL!
We went to another pumpkin patch with our close friends and tried to get a group photo of the kids. I love this photo because even though they were having a blast, as SOON as we posed them for a picture their faces were like ummm NOPE! Haha! 
There’s that happy boy 🙂 
October was also a fun month full of shooting!
Dani & Reggie’s Front Royal golf course wedding was so beautiful!
Jessie & Nathan didn’t let Hurricane Matthew rain on their parade!
Carrie & Kellen rocked their engagement session in Cape Charles 🙂
My cousin Krystal and her husband Jourdin are expecting a baby boy in a few weeks!
Kim & Thomas celebrated 2 years of marriage with a Yorktown Beach anniversary session!
Kiana and AJ’s pumpkin patch maternity session was so perfect for the fall season!
Rashauna & Daniel had a sweet & intimate morning wedding in Norfolk 🙂
Halloween was a hoot! Koa trick-or-treated in the morning with our playgroup and again in the evening in our neighborhood. Our little Super Mario!
Masterminding with my Wolfpack! I grabbed this grainy image from my iPhone but have to show you what we look like at 11pm after 5 hours of laughing, snack-eating, wine drinking, workcation planning and business brainstorming. I love getting together with these ladies and thinking outside of the box!
I also attended a fun photog dinner at Plaza- give me all the chips and photog convo! Shaun and I got in a few date nights this month including a movie (When The Bough Breaks!) so it’s been nice to have a pretty good balance of #allthethings this month.
November
Oh SOOOO many fun things are happening this month! This weekend I have Se’era & Justin’s wedding AND Victoria & Jesse’s! I am super excited for both and adore those couples so much! Engagements, brides and couples sessions also populate the calendar this month 🙂
Next week I’m getting headshots done by Sharon Elizabeth Photography with my wolfpack! I’m excited because 1) She’s amazing and I’ve never met her and 2) Headshots with my girls will be so fun! Can’t wait to share the images with you all- if only I could find something to wear before then haha.
November brings Thanksgiving and family time and I’m looking forward to it all! Hope your fall has been AMAZING so far and I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to!
