Oh this engagement session is super close to my heart! Se’era & I met last summer at my former job (the one I just quit to go full time!) and there aren’t enough words to describe this ray of sunshine. She lights up every room she enters, makes every person feel like her best friend and has the biggest heart you can imagine. She has been my biggest cheerleader in this business. Justin is the perfect match to her bright personality. He makes her laugh, is a total romantic and loves her so deeply! When they got engaged I was over the MOON! She was SO excited to become an ‘Angie McPherson Bride’ and I couldn’t wait to capture a love so real.

Se’era & Justin’s love story began the summer of 2011 when they began attending the same church. Even though they knew of each other from high school, they had never exchanged more than a casual greeting. From the beginning, they both felt something more than they were willing to admit, but while on a trip to Arizona with their church, sparks began to fly. The budding romance between Se’era and Justin began taking root with every laugh and kiss, and bloomed with each memorable moment they shared. After 4 years together, they knew it was time to write the next chapter of their lives. They started with a riddle. In his proposal, Justin wrote,

“Life is a riddle and it takes the right team to crack the code to forever and that’s you and me.”

We shot their engagement session at CNU because their relationship began while Justin was in college there. They grew together there and met some of their closest friends there too. Soon after Justin graduated and started a job in human resources there, Se’era also began working at the Ferguson Center for the Arts. CNU has always seemed to be the backdrop of their relationship and I’m so glad we were able document this chapter in their lives on campus!
