Wedding Planning Advice from a Bride | 5 Quick Tips

Wedding Planning Advice from a Bride | 5 Quick Tips

My sweet bride Victoria is sharing 5 tips she learned while planning her & Jesse’s Hermitage Museum and Gardens wedding! It’s been so fun to share wedding planning advice from my own brides in the Tips for Brides series so enjoy Victoria’s super helpful tips below!

From Victoria

1.  DRAMA

Don’t let the drama or opinions stress you out during your wedding planning. Some unwanted opinions will come up but try to remain clear headed and focus on your wedding goals.

2. STRESS

Don’t let the stress from wedding planning get too much for you to handle! Always ask for help whether it be from your MOH to your mother-in-law.

3. EAT

On your wedding day make sure you eat! Brides spend so much money and effort into making a wedding menu and they should get to enjoy it! Even though we got to eat at our wedding I was too excited to sit still that long. 🙂

4. TRADITION

Don’t let wedding traditions sway you away from what you want at your wedding. Be unique and make your day memorable!

5. DIY BRIDE

Last but not least Pinterest is great but your dreams are not always in budget. Find a vendor who can make it cost efficient! I thought I was going to be able to Pinterest/DIY my whole wedding; however, I needed help and luckily I had amazing vendors that made my dreams come true!

Victoria, thank you for these quick and helpful tips! I’m so glad someone reminded us to eat on our wedding day 5 years ago because it definitely would have slipped my mind!
