Katherine & Ben met playing dodge ball almost two years ago. Some of her co-workers had been insisting she’d play and it was the best decision she ever made! By the third game, these two were inseparable 🙂 Over the summer, Katherine joined Ben’s family on a vacation to the Dominican Republic where Ben’s parents would be renewing their vows! Katherine flew in a couple of days into the vacation due to her work schedule. Once she arrived to the resort, she was surprised to see Ben’s family standing in a line with matching t-shirts that spelled out Will You Marry Me? As they each stepped out of the way, Ben appeared on one knee with a ring in his hand. Ahhh! So sweet!

We had such a fun time walking around the Noland Trail in Newport News and couldn’t have asked for a better fall backdrop.  We had plenty of laughs and such great conversations! I loved hearing all the details about their summer wedding and can’t wait to capture it at The Woman’s Club of Portsmouth 🙂
