When I write these recaps at the end of every month, I am reminded how time goes by so fast! Ah, slow down! How are we this close to May already!? Bizarre.

Any who! I just had to share this cute pic of Koa pushing his lawn mower in the backyard! He had a fever of 102+ for a week and it was ROUGH! I’m so happy he’s feeling better and in great spirits! The weather has been amazing so we’ve been enjoying Busch Gardens, playdates, walks and hanging out in the backyard 🙂

Kate & John’s wedding kicked off the month and it’s one I’ll never forget!

Alexa & Bradley engagement session in Colonial Williamsburg was SO romantic!

Petie, owner of Country Villa Inn Bed & Breakfast, invited me over for a venue tour. I was BLOWN away! The house has such a cute bridal suite and is perfect for hosting family. The outside is amazing! Couples can get married in the backyard (the lawn is huge) and have their reception under a just footsteps away (a tent is available). There are a ton of places for portraits and ample parking. I would LOVE to shoot a wedding there!

My friend and amazing bride Ciera had her bridal shower last weekend and it was all decked out! We had brunch, played games and ate the most delicious cupcakes. How gorgeous is she?! We’re less than a month away from her wedding!

We’re still in April so I can add this… I am heading to Virginia Beach to photograph a styled shoot today! The shoot will kick off my top-secret project in a few weeks and I couldn’t be more excited!! Stay tuned for some sneak peeks 🙂
