John & Kate’s wedding day was INCREDIBLE! I had been waiting for their special day for a year (since we took their engagement photos last April)! These two have some of the kindest hearts I’ve ever encountered. Their love for each other is so unconditional and you could see it all over their faces on their wedding day. This is the happiness you experience when you marry your best friend!

There were so many special moments throughout the day that I’ll never forget. I loved the way Kate’s eyes beamed with joy and excitement after opening her gift from John and letting it sink in that she would be marrying him soon. Her first look with her Dad was also a beautiful moment! He was in awe of his little girl! When John finally saw her walk down the aisle, he smiled from ear to ear! She was the most beautiful sight he’s ever seen, I’m sure 🙂

From the ceremony at Wren Chapel in Williamsburg to the reception at Yorktown Freight Shed in Yorktown Beach, their day was filled with grey and wisteria details and the most beautiful florals. It rained the entire morning and stopped as soon as portrait time came around, score! They laughed and kissed through their first portraits as husband & wife and then danced the night away with their loved ones to a live band. Such a perfect day!

John & Kate, you two know how much I adore you!! Thank you for allowing me to document your special day and I hope you are having an amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica! xoxo!
