I am SOOOOO excited to share my brand new logo and variations!! I couldn’t be happier with this new look courtesy of April, owner of PaperDolls Design! I have SO many plans for 2016 and I love that I can kick it off with a quick new look. I have a beautiful new pricing guide to send potential brides and I’m finishing up a 60+ page welcome magazine for my current brides so I needed a not only a sweet new logo but patterns, fonts and variations for consistency.

Branding is hard, ya’ll. LOL! I wanted the colors to stay consistent with my current branding but wanted the font and overall look to reflect my style, personality and growth! I am so thankful for April’s patience and the way she just gets it. In her questionnaire, she asked for 10 words to describe my brand. My words were all over the place but they ALL come from the heart. My response to her:

“Timeless, fun-loving, playful, joyful, romantic, genuine, happy, polished, meaningful, thoughtful!”

I even sent her Pinterest board that started with one style and ended with another haha! I think the initial struggle was that people always try to put photographer’s in a box. Are you a classic and timeless photographer? Are you a fun photographer? Do you keep it super professional or are you a goofball at times? Here’s my answer to that: Don’t put me in a box! I do run a very professional business, we will have FUN, we do keep it casual & lighthearted, you will have a ton of real moments/candid portraits but you’ll also have traditional portraits to put over Grandma’s fireplace. I want my couples to love their images today, a few years from now and 50 years from now. I’m being totally honest with you all because you know I keep it real here! With all that being said, April hit me with beautiful ideas that matched my style & personality every single round. We found a look I loved, made some alterations and I’m OBSESSED with the final look, variations and submarks. Take a look!!And here are a screenshots of of the logo in action! The left screenshot is my homepage on mobile and the right screenshot is Chelsea & Jaine’s mobile app. Oh yes! I just started delivering custom mobile apps when my couples receive their full gallery! The app holds up to 40 images and installs right on your phone’s home screen. You don’t even need WiFi to view them! It’s the bomb.com, friends. I love rolling new things out this year!
