It feels like summer just began and now it’s almost OVER! August was absolutely AMAZING and everything I hoped it would be (restful and joyful). Here’s a look at what the month included and what September holds!
August
We kicked off the month with Kalani & Matt’s Williamsburg wedding! They were married at the Wren Chapel (on William & Mary’s campus where they met in college!) and rented out an entire restaurant in Colonial Williamsburg for their reception. The day was beautiful!
Chelsea & Jaine’s Founders Inn wedding (Disney-themed!) was featured in Coastal Virginia Magazine!!
Our son Koa turned THREE!! Every year for his birthday, we have him hold the same number of balloons as his age and it’s adorable! You’ll see his first 3 years below. I hope to continue this tradition until he’s 18 haha!
I turned the big 3-0!!!
Shaun and I have birthdays literally one day apart so we went to Cancun to celebrate! We had a BLAST! We laid on the beach, swam in the ocean and pool, ate delicious food, drove a speedboat 30 minutes into the middle of the ocean to snorkel, and I booked a 1-hour Swedish massage on the beach under a cabana! TREAT. YO. SELF. 🙂
Quite a few people followed our trip via Instastories and asked where we stayed. We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive and gave it 5 stars! The food, customer service, resort, and beach were all AMAZING! We booked a ‘garden view’ room and ended up with this view from our balcony!

The waves were massive but so much fun haha! Shaun is 6’3 so that’ll give you some perspective on how tall they can get. We bought a floatie on our last beach day so I could lounge on the waves but I ended up getting thrown off a few times haha!
September
And this is where the fall busy season kicks in! I have a few weddings, an anniversary session, couples mini sessions (I still have 2 time slots available!), a vendor party and a few fun activities planned with the fam! Bring it on!
