It was a challenge, but I think I’ll call this a win! Last year, I took pictures of Koa in this same setup when he was only 4 months old. It was much easier then because he wasn’t as mobile! I wanted to recreate the quick session but knew it’d be tough. This kid is all over the place! Our first try, Koa just wanted to run towards the lights. Shaun had the idea of giving him a wrapped candy cane to keep him still and it worked! It was hard to pry it from his mouth at that point but we were still able to get a few gems 🙂  This holiday season with Koa has been so amazing. He loves our Christmas tree and I just about cried watching him light up all throughout our visit to Christmastown at Busch Gardens. He brings immeasurable joy to our lives!

This may be the last time I try to recreate this so enjoy our sweet boy and have a Merry Christmas!!

You know we had to throw Bentley in there! At least he’ll pose for me 🙂
