All I can say is WOW! Tanisha & Kermit’s wedding was such a a fairytale! I first met them when I photographed their Colonial Williamsburg engagement session a few months ago. I had such a great time getting to know them and meeting their adorable chocolate lab, Seines. This past Saturday, the lovebirds were married on the water in the backyard of Tanisha’s family home! I kept thinking how awesome it was for her to marry the man of her dreams at the home where she grew up. Many happy tears flowed as this day was so personal and heartfelt.
The wedding itself was classy down to the details! Their champagne and marsala colors with shimmery gold accents blew everyone away. The biggest surprise was seeing Tanisha escorted by a horse-drawn carriage to the ceremony! What an entrance! The carriage took the couple for a short ride after the ceremony, giving them some alone time in their first minutes of husband and wife. One of the perks of getting married at her family home was that their pup was able to join us for portrait time (wearing an adorable bow tie)! Everyone danced the night away and wished them well with a sparkler exit. Tanisha & Kermit, thank you for the opportunity to capture your special day and I hope you love these highlights as much as I do!
The vendors made their day especially amazing!!
