Last week, I spent an incredible few days on ‘one happy island’… ARUBA!! I captured Elizabeth & Joe’s Aruba destination wedding and it was an experience I’ll always cherish. I was blessed to room with my sister Melanie because she attended the wedding (she and Elizabeth are long time friends)! We spent long days at the beach, explored the island together, wasted money (and won money haha) at the casino and had the best time! Melanie knew so many of the wedding guests so I was able to get to know everyone on a personal level. I’m already missing the sand between my toes and laughs with my sis! So today I’m recapping all the fun of the trip!
Now I know why Aruba is known as ‘one happy island’. People are so relaxed!! Even the resort is telling you to chill out haha. I needed reminders like this… ya’ll know I’m a workaholic!
We stayed at the Mancheo Beach Resort and I’d go back in a heartbeat! Our room was on the bottom left of the image. We actually had an iguana try to physically pry our door open to get in LOL. If we’re connected on Instagram, you probably saw the video in my Instastory haha!
Can you tell I have an obsession with Palm Trees?? 🙂 
We took the bus into the city to explore and stumbled upon a cute little lookout. My sister is such a model! 🙂
And so is this guy! Just soaking up the sun!
We found helicopter tour and went for it!! I’ve never been on a helicopter tour before and I’m all about a new adventure!
It was amazing! We passed our resort and it was beautiful seeing the spot where Elizabeth & Joe would be married from above (right on that beach).

OH and my sister sang with the groom (left) and a local musician/friend to the couple! They sang They Long To Be by the Carpenters. I will always thin of this moment when I hear that song! “Why do birds suddenly appear…” 🙂
They had a blast with their guests the night before the wedding! 
Such an amazing trip! Loved getting to spend time with my sister and do what I love in a beautiful location. Elizabeth & Joe, thank you again for the awesome opportunity!
