August was a whirlwind of love, celebrations and travel! September will be even crazier (in a good way)! Here’s my August recap along with what’s ahead next month  🙂

August in review
Engagement sessions in August can be reallllly hot but my couples rock it out every time! I shot Nemma & Danilo’s Norfolk Pagoda engagement session two days before their wedding! 

Loved getting to know Lorin & Rodney at their Fort Monroe engagement session and hearing about their wedding plans for next year:)Nemma & Danilo planned their Founders Inn wedding in just a few weeks time and it went off without a hitch!

TJ and Tiffany took a break from their 3 adorable boys to get all dolled up! Can’t wait to share their couples session on the blog tomorrow! Ow owwwww!

I attended the GoLive Workshop in LA with two of my favorite people and came home with this brand new website!

We took a TON of headshots while we walked around Beverly Hills!

Koa, Shaun and I all celebrated birthdays in August! We threw Koa a low-key birthday party, went to Top Golf on Shaun’s birthday and saw the movie Bad Moms on mine 🙂

My sister came into town for Koa’s birthday and we visited a studio to take some quick pictures of her! Ya’ll know I love my natural light but Melanie pushed me out of my comfort zone by requesting a backdrop 🙂 Isn’t she gorgeous?!

She is ONLY wearing eyeliner. Talk about a natural beauty! <3

This is one of the best services ever haha! You can place your grocery order on the website and schedule a pickup. Drive to the pickup area and they will load all of the groceries in your car. It literally saves me 1-2 hours per week and I make better shopping decisions when virtually adding things to my cart rather than walking around the store half-hungry and picking up junk food lol! Best of all, it’s free 🙂

A look ahead at September

WEDDINGS WEDDINGS WEDDINGS! Haha! The blog is going to be beautiful this month with so many amazing couples and wedding days! Kelley & Nathan, Abi & John, Tori & Marcus, Blair & Mark– I can’t wait!!

We’re going to Orlando! My entire family (us, my parents and sisters) are flying to Orlando at the end of the month and I am SO excited. Parents, please give me tips on flying with a 2 year old haha! We haven’t decided which theme parks we’ll visit but I’m so pumped for Koa’s first vacation!

September also brings vendor parties, brainstorming sessions with my girls (I’m dreaming up a workshop!) and family time. Oh and all my TV shows come back this month hahaha! Cheers to September and bring on fall!!
