Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet Koa!!! Wow, TWO years since this beautiful soul came into our lives. Koa is so smart and talkative, so loving but definitely going through the terrible twos lol! Our little sour patch kid 🙂 He’s had a full year of play dates, exploring new museums, theme parks, swimming lessons, festivals, beach days and being unconditionally loved by family <3 We’re taking him on his first flight next month. He’s such a big boy!
If you remember his first birthday blog post, I mentioned the tradition I started and hope to keep up! I’m going to take a picture of him every year on his birthday holding the number of balloons as his age. Last year he held one balloon, this year he’ll hold two and I’ll keep it up until he turns 18 and is TOTALLY embarrassed haha! Here’s this year’s photo and I included a 1 year vs. 2 year balloon photo comparison at the bottom of the post!
We had a very low-key birthday gathering at Chick fil A and it was awesome! We ordered a ton of nuggets, opened presents, ate delicious cake (he’s super into trains right now) and spent quality time with family. Laid back and fun- just what we wanted.
He accidentally let the balloons go and they got stuck in the tree! He got a kick out of it!
My Dad bought a bike trailer and Koa had a BLAST! He was giggling up and down the street!
