We made it to Friday, friends! It’s been a wonderful week with beautiful weather (despite today), family time and sessions! I wanted to end this week with a quick blog post sharing a few of my favorite things as of late!

Shows
TV has been SOOOOOO good lately!! A few of my favorite shows just went off until next season like How to Get Away with Murder, Pretty Little Liars and The Real Housewives of Atlanta/Potomac. But a few of my faves just returned! Once Upon A Time, Quantico, Empire, Vampire Diaries, Baby Daddy, Supergirl and much more. My DVR consistently stays over 90% full LOL! I usually have to record my fave shows and catch up when I can because, #mompreneurlife.

SnapChat
Oh. My. Gosh. I never thought I would love SnapChat so much hahaha! I used it for the first time during the Workcation and fell in love! Instagram and Facebook are great but SnapChat is about as authentic as you can get. No pretty filters or perfectly curated photos…it just keeps it real and in the moment. I use it on wedding/session days and capturing Koa being silly in his 19 month glory. I also love to see what others are up to! My SnapChat username is AngieJanine7. 

Activities
Getting OUTSIDE! We’ve been going for family walks after work because the time change finally allows us to and the weather has been AMAZING! Koa’s at the age where he loves playgrounds and he’s just so fun! I can’t wait to take him to Busch Gardens in a few weeks 🙂

Movies
We don’t get out to the movie theater as much as I’d like anymore but we did have a date night last week! We saw 10 Cloverfield Lane. Has anyone seen it? Shaun and I loved the original Cloverfield so we knew we had to see this one. It was interesting lol! That’s all I can say without giving anything away. We definitely enjoyed it and it had us on the edge of our seats!

Podcasts
I have no idea what new songs are on the radio right now because I have been listening to podcasts nonstop! A few of my faves for entrepeneurs: She Percolates, StartupCamp and The Mind Your Business Podcast. The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey is an encouraging podcast for women as we journey through life! It’s like sitting around the table with your girlfriends 🙂

Food
I’ve made these two recipes multiple times in the past few weeks! So easy and so good: Italian Chicken Bake and Easy Beefy Broccoli.

Editing Music
People ask what I listen to while I edit sessions & weddings. I love easy listening music because if I’m jamming to a song, I may get distracted! I LOVE the calming sounds of Hawaiian music. It puts me in such a great mood and takes me back to when we visited Hawaii a few years ago! Best. Vacation. Ever. I listen to the soundtrack of the The Descendants movie (such a good movie) found on YouTube. I could listen to it allllll day, ya’ll. I have no idea what the lyrics are saying and often ask my Mother-In-Law what phrases mean (she’s Hawaiian).
