Heather and Caige are from a very small town and started dating as teenagers! They brought a beautiful baby girl into the world 16 months ago and make the cutest family! Caige proposed during family portraits so she was ecstatic that it was ALL caught on camera! He wrote “Will you marry Dada?” on a pumpkin and sat it down next to their adorable daughter, Blakely. When Heather turned around to try to get Blakely to smile, there it was!

I loved venturing through Libby Hill Park in Richmond for their engagement session! But let me tell you…Virginia weather is funny. Heather and I texted the entire weekend talking about the impending rain! Every few hours, the forecast would go from sunny with no rain to completely overcast with 100% chance of rain. We decided to take our chances and then it didn’t rain LOL! It was a blessing in disguise though because after texting literally all weekend, we met for the first time feeling like we’d known each other forever 🙂 I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in May!
