I adore LaKisha and Ondrae! We ventured through the Noland Trail on a lovely fall day and had such a great time together! These two met through mutual friends, chatted through Facebook (he thought she was mean at first haha!) and started going a few dates! They found they had a lot in common including taste in movies, video games and a love of sports. They dated for a year before LaKisha lost her father and Ondrae was there for her through the tough time. He let her cry on his shoulder and helped pick her spirits up (and she’ll forever appreciate him for it). In 2014, they went on an amazing vacation in Jamaica and she wondered if would propose. Three days into vacation, she gave up that wishful thinking haha! But oh that Ondrae! After a long day on the beach, he popped the question! I absolutely love this quote from LaKisha, “For a while I never thought I would get married, and I asked God to send me the man that was for me, and He sent me Ondrae.  We know so many of the same people, and he knows my family, and had been in the same places at the same time and had never met till then.  It wasn’t luck, but it was Gods plan to put us together when he did.”
