11 months! Can’t believe Koa will turn ONE next month! I’m savoring these next few weeks because I am not ready to say “Oh I have a 1 year old old”! It just doesn’t feel real. I want my baby to always be my baby 🙂

Updates:
– Obsessed with the play area in the mall (video below). I wish we had that area in our house! Padded floors and walls, a ton of motor skills toys, slides and other kids to socialize with is always a win!
– Graduated from the stationary walker to the push walker.
– Can stand for about 15 seconds here & there without falling. We’re ready for this guy to take a few steps! 🙂
– Had a great month of being well behaved at cookouts, playdates and weekly grocery shopping trips. I’m only making note of this because he’s known to throw a temper tantrum (or 2) at home so seeing him well behaved in public is nice haha! I’m getting a glimpse into the ‘terrible twos’ life and I am NOT ready.
– “Mama” ‘Dada” are in full force and I THINK I am hearing “dog” when he sees Bentley. My Mom swears he says “ball”
– He is fighting his second nap. Folks, we NEED that afternoon nap and we went from a 100% success rate to 30%. We’ve had an awesome 2 nap schedule for the past few months and I’m not ready for him to transition into 1 nap (and neither is he, hence him getting tired too early for bedtime). I keep reading that kids should transition anywhere between 14 and 18 months.  Feel free to leave any advice and feedback you have on getting him down for a second nap!
