I’m still on a high from the Implement Live Workshop I attended with my business bestie Elizabeth! We registered SUPER last-minute (like days before). I received an email from Amber McCue, a business operations expert who I’ve been following on social media and learning from for quite some time now! She said she was hosting an intimate, 2-day workshop in Annapolis, MD for small business owners to focus on implementing big goals and creating action plans. If you know anything about me, you know THIS IS MY JAM. Running my own business full-time has been SUCH a blessing and I am always thinking bigger and better. How can I serve people? How can I serve my family? What can I put out there to make a difference in someone’s life? I asked Liz if she wanted to make the trip with me and she didn’t hesitate to say yes (that’s why I love her)!
And best of all, I love that this wasn’t a photography or wedding related workshop whatsoever. Sometimes it’s awesome to step outside of your industry and learn from others, it really opens your mind to different strategies and opportunities! The workshop was more than concepts and ideas, we left with plans and resources to make our goals happen. I came up with a big, hairy scary goal (that I’ll announce soon) so now I’m working behind the scenes to bring it to fruition!
I’m excited to announce my next project and it will be for my wedding industry friends! So if that’s you, join my email community to be the first to know! You’ll also receive a free list of 50 Marketing Strategies, workshop announcements, and weekly marketing tips!
If you want to learn more about Amber, visit her website and listen to her podcast! The other speakers included Shenee Howard, Rachael Cook, and Reina Pomeroy. All such inspiring entrepreneurs!
We all wrote our goals on white posters on the wall! The goals had to be completed by the end of day 2! I like the way Amber works 🙂
So thankful for this big dreaming friend of mine!
We all came up with one word to describe how we felt at the end of the workshop. Mine was CLARITY! 🙂
