Boy is it different being in FRONT of the camera rather than behind! We had our maternity portraits taken by my photog mentor and friend Amanda of Amanda Hedgepeth Photography!

As you may already know, Shaun and I are expecting a baby boy at the end of August and we are over-the-moon excited! We are so in love with ‘Baby Mack’ (as we affectionately call him- Mack short for McPherson) and I couldn’t wait to document this special time in our lives. Baby Mack is already an awesome photographer assistant seeing that he’s spent all of 2014 accompanying me at multiple weddings and portrait sessions! I have the best clients who care about our little growing family and I can’t wait to show him off when he’s here!

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these images of him while he’s still in momma’s belly. I will say this, pregnancy can bring out all types of insecurities. From the weight gain and constantly changing body to the fears of impending labor… it can take a toll on momma’s mind. However, when Amanda sent me our full gallery, all insecurities subsided. The smiles on our faces. The golden light. The time to reflect on the big picture. Shaun and I are SO blessed that The Lord has chosen us to parent one of His children on this earth. Our lives will soon be forever changed and we will cherish these images always!
