Well friends, the worst kept secret is OUT! I officially have an office space and I’m excited to be sharing it with my sweet friends Crystal Belcher Photography and Christina Barnum Photography! If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have seen my Instastories working in the office over the past few weeks. So pumped to finally put it out there! We are calling it The Creative Corner because that’s exactly what it is! A few questions you may be asking…

Why did you get an office space? What will you use it for? Don’t you like working from home??

The office is going to be a special place I use for client consultations and photography education (mentoring and workshops)! I want serve my couples and industry friends in the best way, with no distractions and a happy place to be in. It’ll also be used for fun workdays with the amazing ladies above. All three of us are working moms who realized that sometimes we just want a few days a week to work in a fresh new space, with other adults (lol) to get the creative juices flowing! I quit my corporate job over a year ago and the only thing I miss about it is the camaraderie in physically working alongside someone else in the industry. I work in the office 2-3 days a week (I do still enjoy working from home!) and I always line it up when at least one of the girls will be there. We rock out to music while we work, go out to lunch and bounce crazy business ideas off of each other. I’ve already had a consultation and a few mentoring sessions there! It has been AMAZING, ya’ll. It’s also a lot easier to come home and shut work off after I’ve had a ‘day at the office’. How can you come hang with me at the office, you ask? 🙂

Here are some shots we took to celebrate our excitement and a look at the decor we chose (thank you, TJ Maxx and Target haha). We have a main office for meetings/consultations (pictured in this blog), and our ‘workspace’ is in the adjoined room. We each have a desk and the window light is awesome but I’ll save those pictures for another blog post when we decorate it a bit more! And wait until you see who helped take a ton of these pictures! Hint: She’s 5 and adorable 🙂
