January in Review | February at a Glance

Cue the obligatory, “Where did the month go?!” But seriously, how are we already at February? Haha! It’s been nice to have some spare time in this off-season to really spend time with family and friends.  I was also able to schedule in a few new projects! Here’s what I was up to in January and what I’m looking forward to in February!

January

I dabbled in a little bit of commercial photography! I photographed the Monticello at Powhatan Apartments in Williamsburg and it’s gorgeous! I need their interior designer to come decorate my house haha.

I also photographed the hotel at Kiln Greek Golf Resort & Spa! I had photographed weddings there before but never took a tour of the entire property. Blown away!

Working on my fitness…

I have really stepped it up in the gym, ya’ll! I finally joined some aerobic classes with my pal Christina Barnum and we have been getting our butt kicked every Tuesday (boot camp, kickboxing, you name it). Let’s hope I can get my eating right…

My marketing workshop was soooooo fun! Check out the full recap for the Marketing Intensive for Wedding Pros!

Potty Training

We are STILL potty training and still not getting anywhere haha! We were snowed in for a few days at the beginning of the month but it hasn’t set in with Koa yet. We’ll get there soon hopefully (and I’m still accepting advice haha)! Photo by The Vacation Channel at The Mariners’ Museum when we modeled for their commercial shoot!

February

Wedding season may not be here yet but I’m excited to shoot some engagements this month and meet more of my sweet 2017 couples!

I couldn’t be more pumped about WORKCATION!! Eleven of us boss ladies are renting a house in Ocean View, Norfolk for 3 days again. Check out last year’s recap here!

One major thing I’m looking forward to in February is that we just signed Koa up for preschool! Ah! Where did my baby go? He’s just going to go a few days a week but I’m excited for him to make new friends and learn in a structured environment! Wish us luck for an easy transition!

What have you all been up to? I hope your first month of the new year went AMAZING!
