This is my first recap/look ahead of 2017 woop woop! I made a commitment to recap and look ahead every month of 2016 and I LOVED it. It was so awesome to see everything come together and I’ll continue the series this year! We’re already in week 2 of January so I’ll start this blog with what’s ahead for January and then recap my December! ๐
January
Last week, I attended the The Historic Post Officeย grand opening in Downtown Hampton with some of my favorite ladies and we had a blast! I’m so excited for this gorgeous venue to take the Peninsula by storm and I can’t wait to shoot a wedding there!
We’re now currently on day #3 of staying in the house due to the snow storm that hit VA over the weekend! I don’t have any fun snow pictures to share because 1) It’s SOOOOO cold outside haha and 2) Koa is potty training! This is seriously one of the toughest milestones to get through haha.
Looking forward, I’m spending the month of January getting everything ready for the marketing workshop I’m hosting on January 28th in Hampton Roads! The Marketing Intensive for Wedding Pros still has a few seats available and I’m so excited! So wedding friendors, if you want toย be more intentional and strategic with blogging, social media, SEO, Facebook ad campaigns, Google Analytics and all things marketing… then I created this event just for you! Click the image below for all the juicy details and reserve your spot today because class is limited to 10 seats! ๐ If you have ANY questions, feel free to email me: angie@mcphersonphotos.com
December
I kicked December off with a trip to Sonoma, California for an all female entrepreneurship retreat! It was so fun and so eye-opening! Check out the recap here!
Loved capturing Kalani & Matt during their William & Mary engagement session! It was SOOOOO cold but they rocked it ๐
Laura & Matt’s Two Rivers Country Club wedding was so beautiful! I’m still swooning over her getting ready space (in her parents bedroom)! I just finished designing and ordering their album and can’t wait for them to see it!
The holiday season was a blast with our sweet Koa! He sat politely with Santa (not crying = a win!) and we had a cookie decorating playdate with our friends ๐
We did our annual ‘DIY Christmas Lights’ shoot in our bedroom with Koa and it gets harder every year haha! We snapped a couple of gems though ๐
I recapped my favorite maternity, engagement, wedding and behind the scenes images!
This recap/look ahead is pretty light compared to the last 12 months and I’m pretty happy about that! It’ll be nice to have a lighter schedule during the ‘off-season’ while still working on the back-end of my business. Cheers to 2017!
