Despite Hurricane Matthew being right on top of them, Nathan & Jessie’s Virginia Arts Festival wedding was a blast! These two were in such high spirits the entire day. We checked in with Jessie before the ceremony to see how she was feeling and she said she’s been with Nathan since she was 15… she was just too excited to marry him to let anything get to her! Take that, hurricane 🙂
They originally planned to have the ceremony outside but with the heavy rain, they moved it to the dance floor. Deep purple and grey accents and uplighting surrounded them the entire day and everything was so beautiful! They had communion during the ceremony and Jessie danced with her Dad to a recording of him singing Butterfly Kisses. There were so many special moments that made their day special! We took all of their portraits under a tiny overhang (their 18-person bridal party were all troopers haha!) and they smiled the whole time despite having cold rain hit their backs haha! Jessie & Nathan, thank you for the opportunity to capture your special day! Your easygoing personalities and excitement throughout the day was a true testament to your relationship and love for each other. Enjoy some highlights from first day as husband and wife!
