Do you ever feel like you’re forgetting something important when you leave the house? I remember being a little scatterbrained the morning of my wedding 5 years ago with that feeling! I’m definitely a planner and list-maker by nature but in the busy midst of wedding planning, I forgot to gather some small details I wanted photographed. I remember running around trying to find things at last-minute and enlisting help from my bridesmaids. Not a fun wedding day activity haha! It would have been so much easier if I had just grouped these items together in advance and handed them to my photographer at the beginning of the day!

Today I’m giving you a Bridal Detail Checklist you so you can have these things ready and waiting as soon as your photographer arrives. These are items you want photographed because even though they may be small in size, they are a special part of your day! Gather them all in one place a few days before your wedding and let your maid of honor (or someone close to you) know where they are just in case you forget about it!

Having it all in one place allows me to knock it out in one timeframe instead of trying to track down items that are important to you! I’ll remind you in your Bridal Guide and in the Wedding Day Questionnaire. After greeting you two and hugging it up on your wedding day, capturing bridal details is very my next step. This way, I can take my time, take good care of the items and return them to you before we continue the rest of the day.

Here’s a list of the most common bridal details you’ll want photographed:

Dress
Hanger
Veil and/or hair pieces
Garter
Bouquet (have them delivered to your bridal suite)
Rings (all 3!)
Shoes
Jewelry
Bridesmaid Dresses
Perfume
Invitation Suite
Heirloom or personal details (handkerchief, cameo, etc)
Letters (to each other, if you’ve written them!)
Gifts (to each other or your bridal party)
Extra fabric or ribbon to incorporate your wedding theme
