Now THIS is going to be a fun blog post!! Do you know my husband has a twin brother? Well he got married on Saturday and I’m honored to have captured his special day! Rob & Paula had a BEAUTIFUL wedding surrounded by close family & friends and ya’ll… we partied all night!
Rob proposed on New Year’s Eve by leading Paula through a scavenger hunt. She had to follow notes leading from the fridge to a room to the microwave to the mailbox and many more stops along the way. Finally at the end, she found him at a candlelit table for two. With romantic music playing in the background, he gave a speech (that she mainly cried through, of course) and then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! I was so proud of my brother-in-law for planning such a grand gesture!
The wedding day was just as amazing. They recited vows from the heart, listened to some amazing speeches (including a hilarious one from my husband, but we’ll get to that in another blog post), and danced the night away. I am so happy for these two and can’t believe I can now call Paula my sister-in-law! Sit back and enjoy this fun tropical wedding my friends, because it’s a long one. This is the most personal wedding I’ve ever shot and I grinned most of the time while editing just looking at how far they’ve come as a couple and seeing my family having a blast celebrating their love. Congrats Rob & Paula! Love you both!
Rob gifted his groomsmen with super hero cuff links!
Oh hey hubby! His speech was hilarious!
Surprise choreographed Mother/Son dance! Look at my mother-in-law gettin’ DOWN!
This is the type of photo you get when you you try to teach someone to use your professional camera in 3 seconds in the dark LOL. Thanks, Jerry!
