Boy have I been for Emily & Kenny’s Oyster Farm wedding!! I shot their engagements last fall and we instantly clicked. Emily has the kindest heart and Kenny is absolutely hilarious. They are such a perfect match! Emily & Kenny originally met through mutual friends and started grabbing ice cream after church! They stayed friends for 2 years before they started dating and then dated for 2 years before they got engaged! One beautiful day last May, Emily & Kenny spent the whole day in Cape Charles visiting the town & beach then watched the sunset from Aqua (the restaurant in Kings Creek Marina). After dinner, Kenny took Emily out to the water and proposed as they watched finished watching the sunset! How perfect that they would get married at the same location one year later 🙂

Now this wedding was so beautiful and personal. Along with Emily’s vintage lace dress, she wore a garter belt made by her grandmother’s with the lace of her mother’s wedding gown! She also wore her grandmother’s jewelry and sewed her cameo on the bouquet. The sweetest bridesmaids complemented her so well in their  light & charcoal gray dresses with blush pink bouquets and accents.

Emily & Kenny, I’m so happy I could capture your first day as husband and wife! You two are such a wonderful pair and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you. Enjoy your honeymoon in Costa Rica!! XOXO!

Emily & Kenny’s CHOREOGRAPHED dance was set to Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Sea” and it was one of the most beautiful first dances I’ve ever seen!
